No National Park anywhere near this place, this is council controlled land and I have met many dog walkers on the trails around there.

OK. Thank you for that information. I knew the dogs were allowed up a the parking area - we've been there before. I just wasn't sure about the walking tracks.
I suppose it's starting to cool down a bit up there?

Sorry, Roger, we really wanted to get there this weekend, but, given the weather, decided it was better to stay at home.

I tried earlier and had three DNFs. Yesterday I drove the circle but the snow was too heavy. Only three left I haven't found. Sorry Roger.

I could have done with less walking required - I am not fit.
Also, your great idea might have had more success in warmer weather.
Perhaps you could try it again about now, or in the Autumn?
I DID like the idea. Still do.
