Where is all the discussion concerning this years mega? I can't find anything on this forum.

I think most of it is over on facebook or something...

must be a secret group.

I have not posted anything because I have nothing to say yet. I do not and will not use face book or twitter but that is my choice. I have forum entries on the relevant pathtags sites re the 2014 OZMega. I am looking forward to meeting old friends and making new ones. My OZMega adventure starts on the 22nd March when we fly to Darwin for 10 days then GHAN it to Adelaide then 14days in Adelaide then 8 days in Murray Bridge then we have ten days to get to Melbourne to fly home. I hope to catch up with other geocachers in Darwin and Adelaide prior to the Mega.

Lol, Oldfella, we are heading down to the Mega 2 weeks beforehand, planning on taking a week to get to Adelaide via the Birdsville Track (provided the floodwaters drop and allow us through), so we can catch the Ghan to Darwin on the 13th, then fly back to Adelaide on the 16th, before heading to the Mega. Home via the Oodnadatta track and Simpson Desert.

There is a wee little bit on the SA Facebook group, chatter really amongst SA folks. Not much though.
Not sure if other state have FB groups and discussions going on.

I am fairly confident that if you look up the definition of 'social media' it includes Internet Forums

We are happy to announce that we are on our way! Currently we are just east of Esperance and will be making the Nullabor crossing starting next week!

Looking forward to catching up with all our friends and making some new ones.

We too are on our way to the Mega. Currently we are just a couple of days behind Team Pathfinder.

Our planned itinerary is currently still out due to, of all things in a drought, flooding in SW Qld. Fingers crossed it dries out a bit over the next few weeks.
