Mystery Moveable

Hi, Any Ideas greatly appreciated. We found a Multi Cache today in Wentworth. NSW. At GZ we found a White Ceramic Angel about 25 cm high with the number 4076 or 4o76 written on the base in permanent marker (the o is written much smaller than the other numbers). It was sitting looking out at the river. It did not have a logbook or anything else to suggest where it's from. We looked through the paper log and the online log for the nearby cache and found no reference to anything being left. The cache has only had a couple of recent visits and signicant flooding before that. Does any other country have moveable cache's? Any ideas what it is.... No point moving it if I can't log it. We've taken it home with us.

Could be a random peice of flotsam and the numbers nothing to do with caching... during the Gnome race a few years back a muggle friend of mine found a Gnome with a film canister strapped to it and we thought it was a cache... turns out it was a random diving gnome :gnome

If it was GA4o76 it would be a cache... what you have Id guess is some random angel ;)

Can you supply an image of this angel? We found one in a local hide that has baffled us. We were happily hiding Bingo caches in the area and this plaster cherub was just sitting there. It's currently absent as one of the finders inadvertently carted it off instead of the Bingo cache. Ours didn't seem to have any numbers, apart from a $39.95 price written on the bottom.

Guess we could all do with a random angel once in a while . . . even if it's not loggable . . .

Good old "Two Cool Hand Luke" http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3158 This Gnome has had an eventful life, been archived and then he rose from the dead yet again!

Check out the gallery at GA5380. Our local mystery looks different but there's definitely a theme!
