All of my Templates and Skinz are now online and downloadable in the Munzee Forum Here \:D/

I'll add some Munzee info to the GCA Wiki soon ;)

Do you have to be logged in to get the attachments?
I'll be buggered if I can see them.

I was beaten to the FTF on the Munzee by several seconds (Chip had her phone out first, and did locate the cache!).

It was interesting that the cache had been found several times, but we were the first to do the Munzee :-)

Well that'll teach me... the reason there were so many names in the log book is that the cache has been hidden for 14 months!

We do have a plan for "Munzees for Business" as a way to help the core game players get some more finds and allow for businesses to promote some special offerings at the same time. We want to focus a little more on getting the core gameplay features rock-solid though before we try and accomplish too many other things.
Ahhh. The goal becomes clear.

Looks like Hoojar is the first to find a munzee in Australia!

Unusual time stamps, as Chip scanned it before me. Maybe Optus sent the data faster than Three!

As an aside I think Munzee's could be great. It is like caching, only without the need to find excuses to not swap, write detailed logs (online and in the book) and do all of the other things that slow down number hounds!!!

I came across these today for the first time - I think it's a great companion game to geocaching. I like the way that it's quick to find and quick to place them. Ideal for urban areas, a kind of quick fire, urban caching. I like the way you just scan the code and that's it logged, nice and easy, then on to the next one! Now we just need a few more hidden! I think it will mainly appeal to the kind of cachers who like to chase the numbers, but certainly an interesting option!

There will be once I get home  .... in 5 months

Geocaching: It's not about the numbers (most of the time)
Munzees: It's ALL about the numbers :P

As they are cheap, quick, easy to make and place and log, people wont expect much from them. Throw in some meaningless points and levels to collect and it is a game for the iPhone generation. Im going to enjoy it too as a companion to caching but never see it replacing a good cache, just enhancing existing ones. Hopefully it will appeal more to the Blank Log / TFTC cachers and make them bugger off :P hahaaha
