Now that the "tourist season" is over I thought I would write a post and THANK all geocachers, both West Australian and Eastern States, who have attempted our Pilbara caches.

The areas in which we have planted them are pretty remote and we had wondered whether it was even worth it as "who would come there to find". Well you guys have made it all worthwhile by leaving us some wonderful logs relating your experiences in the Pilbara.

A common thread seems to come through those that have contacted us personally and that is that you would have liked to have been able to get out to some of our really "out of the way" ones but unfortunately didnt have the time. The good thing is that I know that a couple of teams plan to come back and have another try!!!!! In the meantime Team : Pathfinder will be out there planting more for next years travellers - oh and of course those brave soles who intend not to wait but to battle our summer!!!
