Ok, that's what happens when you Google too much! Typo fixed.

Sounds interesting! I'd love to check this out and see if it can be converted to other formats.

Any chance of a link being posted that doesn't need forum registration? I'm happy to if need be, but best avoided. :)

Cheers,
- Rog

What format are you thinking of?

I am not aware of any other download options apart from what's in the forum.

Hello -If the maps are in Garmin Mapsource img format you could open with gpsmapedit - save map components as shape files - then re-create the map using Magellans Mobilemapper Office software plus a few "special" conversion programs made by others (see mobilemapper2 yahoo group) and create a map for magellan gps units. If you knew how it would be easy (I guess - never tried myself) as the maps in question appear pretty basic.

Cheers

Depends what form the data takes. If waypoints or tracks, then there are lots of formats available, GPX, KML, POI to name a few.

I'll have a closer look at it today.

If I wasn't so tried last night I would have read this thread a bit better. How about you ask me first if you can decompile my work! I did put a line in the licence.txt file saying not to! I did put a bit of time and effort into making the files and putting them into a installer for easy installation!
