Hi I am new to geocache and wanting to know if anyone knows of a free GPS app for iPhone. Have looked but not sure which would be the best. Thanks Wylderose

There is the Groundspeak Geocaching Intro app (https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/geocach ... 41503?mt=8). You could also try Geo Bucket (https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/geo-buc ... 75790?mt=8).

If you decide you like geocaching then I recommend you purchase Geosphere (https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/geocach ... 60076?mt=8) for $8.49. In my opinion it is much better than the "official" app and I use it for all my geocaching these days except when I am out of mobile phone range.

Happy caching,

At only about $3 to $5 why not try one of the normal ones? They are all pretty good.

GPSLite would OK if you just need to grab coordinates. In the free version it is pretty limited in navigating to a waypoint you enter. As mentioned above there are better ones, but this works if you just need to know your current location.
