geocache mode on garmin etrex legend

Hi all,
I have just started in this game and enjoy it heaps. it's a great activity to do with my son.
I have purchased a garmin etrex Legend H which has a geocache mode, however i can't work out how to use the mode.
have downloaded the software off the web to get geocaches loaded into the GPSr.
Have managed to download the co-ords successfully.
What do I do with the geocache buttons on the GPSr?
Feeling lost but not lost.
