Unfortunately I can't get hold of the travel bug logs

A couple of things with the stats where I've noticed errors:

If I look at my page "The Garner Family" in the graph Caches Owned by Finds it lists my caches as having far more finds than they actually have.

If I look at the Queensland page in the graph Top 50 caches by single finds in a single day, it lists Phascolarctos cinereus as having 18 finds on 10/10/04 - it only had 8. It lists Lyin Under Cover - Baroon Park as having 12 finds on 12/10/05 - it only had 6.

Hmmmmmmm. Very suspicious as everything seems twice as large.
Seems to have been a problem with the log imports.
I've just reimported the logs and everything is fine and dandy again.

It probably would have resolved itself tomorrow morning, but it's fixed now anyway.

My webhost is in the middle of replacing my server due to coming to its end of life. This is causing some small amount of grief with the CRON jobs running.

I've run them manually and everything looks OK now.

gday C@W, just noticed the new graph showing most interstate finds in a day.... great work

as an add on to that, how easy would it be to show say;

most popular holiday destination for each states cachers using the total number of interstate finds

& in reverse the most common home state of visiting cachers to each state?

would interest me from a general point of view where people like to travel

I'll have a think and see what I can whip up sometime tomorrow.

Think I've done it. It's a little confusing, even for me.

Holiday Caches Found by State (excluding Locationless) by Cacher Home State: TAS (as an example)
This one shows the finds in any state by a Tasmanian on holidays.
Looks like the most commonly raided state is Victoria.

Holiday Caches Found by State (excluding Locationless) by Holidaying State: TAS (as an example)
This one shows the finds in Tasman by someone from another state on holidays there.
Looks like the most commonly raiding state is SA.

Entries with Blank or Unknown are international caches for which a country or state aren't supplied.

As I said it's a little confusing, but I think you'll be able to work it out.

There's also a new Top 50 Oldest Caches graph. Some of them haven't been hit particularly hard given their age.

Thats exactly what I was thinking, Brilliant stuff, thanks Caught@work.

I expected Vic to be the main destination for tas cachers, but I didn't expect SA to beat Victorians visiting Tas, although that might have alot to do with the blitz Cached had early in the year

very interesting (in Tas at least) that only one of the oldest 50 are archived, kinda says they were well placed in the first place

Victorians go raiding SA.

Not so much water, only about 7 hours driving with caches along the way (unlike Bass Strait) and when you get there, the caches are littering the street like diamonds so you can just pick them up, log them and throw them away as they'll be replaced within minutes (or something like that)

(This is all said in jest I have no idea what SA caching is like, so if you're from SA, don't go all postal on my ass).

Interesting what you can find sometimes in the archives.

This image is from an archive of a GCA page in 2003 but I noticed that all the other archived pages before and after have the same image so I don't know the date that stats are for.

Would have been sometime between the 8th and 29th of August 2003.
