Hi your Awsomenesses. I'm gradually working towards my "100 GCA Finds" target and am getting all excited about receiving my new pathtag

I think it would be a nice idea to have an announcement in this thread for each new cacher who reaches 100 finds (and maybe even a retrospective recognition of those who have already passed this golden target to date)

This isn't just becasue I'm hoping to get there soon, I really do think it would be nice to have a list of this milestone. Is it feasible?

I don't know about in the forums, but it is feasible to do it on the main site somewhere.

My only concern, is that people may not want the acknowledgement made public.

Maybe it can be one of the things people could advise when they tell you their postal address. If you change the code to ignore this field, it shouldn't print out on the address label I just figured it was a good way to publicise the great rewards program to those who hadn't noticed it - especially down the track when the topic has faded from memory or new people join up who hadn't heard of it.

I understand. That's the beauty of the program. You get a surprise in an email and then a week later in the smail mail. It's not a competition to see how many you can get, it's a reward for playing on this site.

Plus, for the really observant, there is that little icon underneath people's avatar.

It could be something you tick, just like whether you want stars or not.

A bit off topic but I just wanted to thank GCA and C@W for my second 100 GCA finds pathtag received this morning.

Thank you so much to C@W for the surprise email I received in the mail to be rewarded for 100 GCA finds. I had no idea you got a path tag in return, until I searched this.

I got a surprise email and a new icon this week. Woo hoo I like bling. So thankyou very much. Now I will have to see how much my gnome obsession has contributed.

I just knocked over my 101st geocache find today!!!

I'm so..damn..close to my 100th find on both here, AND GC!

Well done jmandea I remember when I reached 100 and I was so surprised and pleased with myslef and it wasn't that long ago. But now I seem to be obsessed as I have 1,100 finds all up! This is GC plus GCA finds of course.

The number that counts for this GCA reward pathtag is the number of GCA caches found. It's fun working towards that number when a lot of the finds are gnomes You'll have to start looking for those caches to find some more, gnomes (moveable caches), trig points, locationless caches plus traditional ones of course.

I think with all these Gnomes C@W is going to need a 500 finds PathTag soon!
