OMG did my jaw drop this morning when I clicked on my GCA bookmark and I got a message telling me the site had been blocked by ACMA!
It unbelievable what they'll pre-emptively block considering what else is freely available.
I had to re-read their page before I realised the forums are still available.
Must be due to all the pictures of uncovered teapots...

Yes, I got a shock too - how annoying is that. Especially when I hadn't had a chance to look at the 'inappropriate content' (nudity)
Thank goodness the forum is still accessible, where will it end?

I got it too. Probably because of the cache "Nude up for a Smiley". OOPS, there goes the forums too! Sorry
Or maybe C@W or some other admin is having an April Fool's Joke with us?

I suppose we will need to have some kind of age verification to log in!?
Get your credit cards ready.

That would be one very clever April Fools Day joke! Maybe there's a geocacher in ACMA with an odd sense of humour (or very disgruntled)...

I could have posted the David Ducovney explicit image but though all the dogooders might get up in arms.

The redirect has to be comming from inside Geocaching Australia so I would say its one of our own with a good sence of humour
This is what I found at 1030pm last night at the bottom of the source code.

Not me. I've been very busy over the last couple of weeks, completely non GCA related.

Does anyone know the address for writing a letter to ACMA to complain about this gross abuse of their powers.
Is it worth considering reviewing the donation fund for any possible legal action?

Nice one faeries! I [CENSORED BY ACMA] myself when I opened the GCA site this morning. Trouble is, it's a bit close to the truth...
