You are not wrong. Clan control is based on caches controlled.

So how often are these double point days going to come around? Been holding off grabbing any GCA's for several weeks now in anticipation ...

They're mood based. If you knew in advance you might not go caching then save them all up If you didn't know you might go out caching and then have nothing for the multiplier days KLet's say there's nothing this weekend or next, but maybe not too long after that.

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here
We were having internet issues last night and were having trouble saving our log on GA3528 Believe a Frog. When we logged on again later it had saved four times. We tidied up the logs by deleting three of them but we've been credited the points four times. Any chance the administrators could tidy this bit up for us please?

Regarding hint:
Shouldn't it be 'your clan' and 'additional cachers'.Recruit your friends and family to your clan in dragonZone.
The more people who play the more fun and entertainment you can have. There are no additional points for recruitment to you clan, just the additional caches who can help your clan to victory.

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here
Hi Administrators,
Just a question on the DragonZone trophies. I have noticed that when I click update, I have not been awarded the Silver for Trigs (10+ trigs) From what I can see, I to date have 15 trig finds. Is this a glitch or am I miscounting?
Thanks

Only cache found after the start of the game are counted for points and trophies so you've got 4 more to find.

Re: Report dragonZone issues / problems here
Definitely, yes.
Triple Point Fortnight
Here's a triple points offering.
Make your finds as usual and when you log them, you will receive additional dZPoints. Standard points will be allocated against your cache find and additional points will be allocated to your bank.
Your find must be dated between Monday 9-Feb-2015 and Sunday 22-Feb-2015. Your log must be made at Geocaching Australia before Sunday 22-Feb-2015 23:59:59 AEST.
The clock is Australian Eastern Summer Time, so if you're not in the AEDST time zone, make suitable adjustments to your local time.
We hope your enjoy the first triple points fortnight.

Is the Cocos Islands (part of WA) included in a DragonZone? There is a LGA called Cocos but it doesn't seem to be included in the WA list here?

http://geocaching.com.au/zone/gmap/2491/gcaThe Shire of Christmas Island and the Shire of Cocos are Federal external territories and covered by the Indian Ocean Territories Administration of Laws Act which allows the Local Government Act to apply "on-Island" as though it were a Federal Act. Nonetheless, Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands are not part of Western Australia.
They're listed under the Unincorp. Other Territories (Western Australia) LGA for DZone purposes.
