LOCAL POLICE WIN MOONBI “GEOCACHE” HUNT
Around 9:00am Monday the 29th June 2015 Tamworth police were called to Moonbi Reserve, Charles Street at Moonbi in relation to a suspicious item which had been discovered in an area of bushland by a Landcare worker. Initial concerns that the item may be an improvised explosive were quickly put to rest by members of the Bomb Disposal Unit who were able to identify it as a cache, used in popular Geocache Hunts. Due to the ominous appearance of the item it was seized by police and entered into Miscellaneous Property at Tamworth Police Station to avoid any further alarm. Attempts to contact organisers of Geocache have as yet been fruitless. For any “Geocacher” in the Moonbi area...stop looking...we’ve found it! Should the “Geocache Hider” wish the item returned it can be collected at 31.5’15” South – 150.56’16” East (Tamworth Police Station)

Looks like this cache from the description and location.
