How much do you want one of these?

http://www.garmin.com/products/iQue3600/

If they release it in Australia with the Metroguide built in like the US model I will find it very hard to resist.

I got very close to buying this unit... in the end the US online shop didnt accept my aussie credit card (dont ask me what the difference is..)
Didnt want to go though the hassle of doing wire transfers etc..

I did hook up with a guy in San Francisco who bought one and bought the aussie map for his trip down under.
Played around with it for a while and it looked really good, the maps were pretty good too (even showed the loop road of my complex :) )

one thing I would like to see is a keyboard.. I don't like grafity much (neither version 1 or 2)

If you want to buy one shop around on the net, price range is pretty wide.
I found http://www.tvnav.com/ to be the cheapest...

Maybe wait for the Palm version of Navman to go with your Palm.
Voice support for turns, etc.
Cool :)

I'm eyeing off the yet to be released Tungsten T3 at the moment.

Does anyone have any tips on good suppliers/prices? I've had a quick look around at AusPUG.

waulok, what's this navman app about?

No promises on Palm's behalf, but I won a TungstenC at the last launch...

The T3 looks awesome, and is well priced for the features.

One drawback is the battery life; for a full day of caching (especially with a bit of Bluetooth, some MP3 listening, etc) you might want to invest in at least a car charger and maybe one of those 4xAA jobbies.

This drawback is true with just about all high-speed PDAs, and at least you get a 320x480 screen and 400MHz CPU to justify it!

www.navman.co.nz which redirects to www.navman.com

It's software which runs on your PDA but works with a GPSr (either attached to the PDA or via Bluetooth) and can plot on your PDA where you are, where you are going and give voice turn signals.

It's out for the PocketPC but the Palm version should not be far away.
