I would like to recommend:

http://www.sentinel.csiro.au/mapping/viewer.htm

and

http://www.weatherzone.com.au

The latter I have personalised and use as my Home page. Each time I log-on it provides literally up to the second information from four of the Dubbo weather data stations. This site can also provide webpage weather information also including warnings, state and district forecasts.

Please review and consider appending to the .au website under planning at least.

I have a weather section on my web site that covers pretty much all of Australia, state by state.
Here you'll find almost everything you'll probably ever want from a weather page including forecasts, weather warnings, maps & charts, rain radars, sky cams, lightning trackers, tropical cyclone tracking, fire reports & services.

I also run my own home weather station here at my place in Morphett Vale, SA that uploads weather data to my web page every minute, 24/7 (useful if your in the area) & there's also a list or other home wx stations around Australia listed state by state.

Just go here http://homepages.picknowl.com.au/starga ... tation.htm & then click on your state & your away.

I originally put this site together for my own personal enjoyment & the fact that I got sick & tired of having to go from one site to another to find the info I was after. This site now acts as a central hub for me (so to speak) where most of the info I'm after is now only a click away.

Thought some of you may also find it useful. Enjoy. :D

Thanks Guys,

Will have a look stargazer.

Another useful site which does not pertain to Geocaching unless you into Astronomy is http://www.heavens-above.com/ This is an awesome site and I have been up early most mornings and spending late nights with my neck craged back searcing for flairs and visables since Alby sent it to me. Thanks mate - like I need another hobby. Lucky I'm on holidays.

This one came in handy as well - www.atomtime.com/ for syncing the computer and my watch for sightings as they are to the second literally.

Bronze - Cacher do it by numbers. Astronomers need a telescope :P

You can use your GPS for the time. It has to be accurate or the system doesn't work! Also, it works anywhere without needing an internet connection.

I have observed 3 Iridium Flares so far, and successfully photographed one.
