Not so much under the radar, I have been keeping an eye on you! And remember there are plenty of GCA caches along the mountains on your way to the DAWSP http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga7194 they are there to be found, go for it.
Yes, still lots of unfound caches up your way...even after 3 or 4 visits. It will take a while, but were going to have a crack at changing the colour of most of the caches up there to match the actual name of the mountains...

:( :griffin
Unfortunately since I can only travel by public transport and foot I am restricted as to where I can go and most of the accessible (for me) caches I have found already. I guess I can only put more out!

How do I get a list of caches in a particular dZ and the clan who controls them with points? Or do i need to look one by one?

Just as an example, Lithgow say

Caches in a dZ.
Goto the zone page for Local Government Areas for NSW.
http://geocaching.com.au/zone/select/14/nsw/all
Pick the zone. e.g. Lithgow.
http://geocaching.com.au/zone/view/2010/
Click View Caches (GCA)
http://geocaching.com.au/zone/caches/2010/gca
Cache control is identified the color icons next to the cache name.

Alternatively, set up a MyQuery.
Set your usual criteria for what you're looking for.
Additionally, set
Zone Id to the zone of interest (2010)
Clan Choose a Clan and then whether Controlled or Not Controlled.

Points? Sorry, that's by checking each cache.

HOW many points do i need to get control of those Blue Mts caches????   :o

How did rogerw3, pjmpjm and team canary manage to get so many point on all those caches?

The higher your ranking, the more points you collect.

Imagine someone at your rank fighting (metaphorically) with someone ranked two or three level above them. You are likely to come out the loser.

Your challenge is to fight the easy ones then, as you gain rank, assign more and more and more points to each cache you find, making them harder and harder for the n00bs to gain a foothold in your zone or against your cache.

While the dragonZone game may sound simple (and it can be), it's also a game of strategy where you can decide where to put your points to best maximise the cache or zone control. Moving caches strategically instead of just piffing them out the car window is also a big part. Move caches you don't control OUT of your zone. Move caches you DO control INTO your zone. Play the game of strategy and the dragonZone will become yours.

All I do is find them. No extra points from me. All too hard.

So how do you go up in rank? Is it based on the number of GCA caches found?

Ranks are point based. So the more points you accumulate the higher your rank. A single cache find or hide can be a significant chunk of points propelling you onwards ance upwards. Today I'll add something to your dragonzone page that lets you know how far you are from the next rank.

When do the points come thru for challenges such as the unloved ones? I've logged several greater than 2 years over the past 2 days but the 60pts hasn't filtered thru? :minotaur

You've got to log http://geocaching.com.au/cache/GA2698 to get the points.
