Alot of people think muscovy ducks are a bit ugly, and they're not the prettiest of ducks that's for sure, but they have such wonderful personalities.
I am not quite sure which bit of the duck's personalities I miss the most. It is either being attacked by it  or the most rank rear end movement :x you could ever smell ( I really wanted to use the " S " word but ) . Oh well I think I am over the mourning process now. :) Now I have the big decision. Is it gunna be Peking, Crispy skin or Duck La Ronge. :?: Thanks for everones wishes while I got through the grieving process. :D Cheers Mr Nanks. P.s - Does anyone have any scrub turkey recipes.

Don't we associate winter dining traditions with Christmas fare?

Today it is consumed for its perceived medicinal value of increasing the positive energy of one's body (the yang), and helping to regulate blood circulation. Due to this belief, people eat dog meat in the winter to help to keep themselves warm ~ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dog_meat

Hmmm, gau with cranberry sauce

My Dachshund loves it when I take him to BBQs because people think it's funny to give sausages to the sausage dog. He usually gets a good feed!
