Use of copy TB dog tag

Post by Coffee and Cache » 14 August 07 1:27 am

I have wondered at the possible use of the copy TB dog tag supplied by Groundspeak a few times and a few days back we came across a TB that had been re-launched with the Copy tag after being lost. Since we appear to have lost a TB of our own in the hands of a 2-time cacher who no longer responds to emails, we have wondered if we should replace the TB item and use the copy tag.

<p>What is the general consensus on this? Obviously, if the original re-surfaced it could get quite confusing, but I guess that gets less and less likely as time goes by.
<p>

That's what it's for!

If the original comes back into circulation, ask whoever's got the duplicate to get it back to you somehow (or hang on to it as a trophy, unless and until you need it again!)
