I saw it. It was a claim for "See You At Sunrise" GCKMEP by GeoMonkeys (Pesky! on GCA). It was claimed by Spruce Mooses from Victoria. They got bought into the studio with about 8 other people (there was so few peple in the"crowd" that all were invited in) and were the last to be asked "Wher are you from, and what are you doing here?"

.

Their reply was "geocaching!" while waving around a garmin for the benefit of the camera. The reply from the host was "What?!?" and again the lady replied "Geocaching" while still wavig around the garmin.

I was the only one excited at home. My wife just smiled wryly and my son was sadened to think there were others like his dad that would even say "I am a geocacher" in public, let alone proudly on national TV.

Our littlest team member saw the show- and came screaming in (at the end after she'd finished watching it mind you) to tell us there were geocachers on Sunrise....Wondered what it was all about.

What a spectacular way to get a cache find.

Hey All,
Yep, the geeky couple on Sunrise was us. We were standing outside on boxing day when the floor manager asked all 5 of us outside to come in for the closing of the show!! We were very excited, so much so I stuffed up what I wanted to say. Nat and Monique thought we were doing something rude but when we told them about it after the show they thought it was cool.
So a tip for all other geocachers - go on a public holiday when no one else is around and you'll be sure to get in the studio!
Dad taped it all back home. Just working out how to transfer it from Video on to PC and then I'll post a link for all to see. Glad to know some people saw it broadcast though!!!
In our household we, actually I, prefer to call him "The Egg".
