Just doing a cross post from another forum.
Australia State Maps Each map is about 6Mb. So it might help to run them through photoshop or another program to resize the images before trying to calibrate them in Ozi.

Thanks dooghan!
Whenever I've visiting an area I go and visit the RACQ/NRMA and get there maps & then scan and callibrate for Ozi... they tend to have a lot of detail & the process is quite easy.

I ran them through Paint Shop Pro at 20% compression and got them down to 1.3Mb

Someone has made some 15 point calibration files at

they are available for download from each state thread
they seem pretty accurate to me (only tried the tassie one so far), I can email it to ya if you like.

Didnt even realise you can calibrate to more than 9 points...
I'd love a copy!
