don't worry, we don't know what we are doing either!
sorry, we assumed the filetype was .OZI
we've renamed it to .WPT
please let us know if that works any better!

Here is a wpt file of four wpts

I can double click on it and it opens up ozi and shows them on the map.

Something seems very wrong with yours. :)

pardon us while we go into the corner and cry!

is there any chance you could edit down your 4 point one bit by bit until it becomes like the one off this site to figure out which bit is breaking it?

thanks!

OK, I opened the waypoint with a text editor, & you have a few spaces between the fields. I got rid of the spaces, saved it & it worked fine. you just need to remove the spaces between the fields & it should work.

A quick screen print of the issue...the square symbols appearing where it should be a carriage return

e.g. between 1.1 and WGS

It's funny you say that, I was about to tell you the carriage returns are fine, lol.
I opened it in Wordpad, which must recognise the squares as a carriage return. because all I done was remove the spaces, resaved it & it worked fine???

I just tried word pad....I opened it and clicked save.....nothing else.... then it worked fine....so wordpad obviously removes the carriage return symbols

LOL, i just tried your solution, that works too for me. i think you're right, wordpad must of recognised the squares & resaved them as a carraige return...

righto, out of all that Ideology, Ignore me, listen to Embi, its the carraige returns, lol.
