Re: Trip Meters in GPS's
All of them should, the Garmins and Magellans all do, even the very early models.OMY130 wrote:Question to all. Looking to do something for a while now & need a question answered.
Do all forms of GPS have a trip meter?? Specific examples would be great.
... Geoff ...
From the manual (p55) http://www.garmin.com/manuals/Foretrex1 ... Manual.pdf
the Foretrex 101 has features like:
Baring, Course, elevation, final destination, final distance, final ETA, final ETE, heading, Max speed, moving average, moving time, next destination, next distance, next ETA, next ETE, odometer, off course, overland speed, speed, stop time, to course, total time, trip odometer, turn, vertical speed, velocity made good.
Any combination of these parameters can be displayed on any one of 4 trip computer screens, with 1 through 4 parameters displayed at any one time. You can also display lat/long, UTM, sunrise, sunset on the trip computer screen too.
