Garmin Software
Gee, i do ask alot of questions....one day i am sure i will be able to answer some on the site myself...
Well bought a GPS MAP60C....it's very nice....
I have oziexplorer for the pc, but no maps on the gps, only base map....are there any third party or freeware maps available for the gps...
I am having a few doubts about the unit i bought, as i think i may have bought something that i will never get full use of....i hope someone can convince me otherwise....maybe i need to get used to it, and give it some time....

Before I bought my copy of mapsource, I successfully downloaded maps of melbourne by using this site ....
http://gps.chrisb.org/en/main.htm
There is a link to the maps on the menu.
My recollection was there were a bunch of steps to follow, and warnings about destroying the GPS, but in the end it was worth the effort.

Re: Garmin Software
You could always try the Shutter Spot game that would allow you to use your GPS and use your camera...moocowmedia wrote:I am having a few doubts about the unit i bought, as i think i may have bought something that i will never get full use of....i hope someone can convince me otherwise....Moo
