Which mapping software do you use for geocaching planning?
Once again, just curious which mapping software people are using as their main source of information for the planning of their geocaching trips.
You may use other software for the tactical phase of your geocaching trips, (i.e. the one built into your GPS) but what do you use to plan your trips?
Once again, please excuse my ignorance if I've excluded your favourite software... Please add a reply telling us what you use, and I'll try to add it to the list...

I mainly use Mapsource for finding the general location of caches. I regularly download the waypoints from http://www.roblisa.com/geocache/.
Once I've honed in on a particular cache I use cheatisearch & cacheway or marvin.

Hi Geonads... You should have a look at http://multimap.com. It's the only map site I've found which has complete street/track level coverage of the whole of Australia (even outside cities)... It uses data from the PSMA (Public Sector Mapping Agencies) which is the same source of data used for Magellan's MapSend programs...

Mapping software
OziExplorer for the mapping, CacheMonkey for the waypoints, and Autocache to suck the cache pages onto my PDA. Works for me, anyway ...

We use CacheMonkey to download all the caches, send them to the eTrex, export to OziExplorer Format, and export to my GeoMap program.
We still use GeoMap to get a quick view of the general location of all the caches we haven't found yet, it's much quicker and easier to use than Planner. OziExplorer is then used to see more accurately where the caches are.
We use Planner as a quick link to the Sydway maps which we occasionally print out on the other side of the caching sheet. We actually use recycled paper which has something printed on the other side, which can often make the map hard to read!
