Geocaching Australia Newsletter - Issue #1

Post by EcoTeam » 13 August 03 11:28 pm

http://ecoteam.alternatezone.com/files/ ... Issue1.PDF

Well, after a pretty lackluster effort on my part  here is Issue #1 which has been hastily cobbled together at the last minute  . Not as good as I hoped, but it's a start! Hopefully we'll get a roll on now, and lots of contributions for future issues. Thanks to those who contributed.

Sorry about the 1.5MB file size, there are lots of pics, and any more compression makes the pics turn out pretty daggy.
Yes it's quite EcoTeam & NSW centric, but I couldn't do much else with limited time and contributions.

i!, can you please copy the file onto the GC.com.au server and provide a link from the main page? Thanks.

Feedback and contributions for the next issue appreciated!

EcoDave :)

A job well done Dave & Nic. Firstly for taking on a project that many of us flicked as 'too hard' or 'not having the time' and secondly for producing a quality newsletter.

Look forward to some more of your work. :D :D :D

The Rats will send some contributions through in the near future.

Great Job ECODave,
a fanastic effort... I printed it out so I could keep it as a reference, Mrs Gecko is taking it to work to show her bushwalking friends there exactly what it is we get up to.
I had started filling out the profile for you but was side tracked by an event cache a couple of cache placement and a most enjoyable 100th/500th cache for NSW.

Very well done to everyone involved. The reviews and pictures were great. Overall an excellent read! I have also put a note on the Queensland caching forum telling those who have not seen it to go and have a look. :D

Hi Dave,

Well, I for one was quite impressed with the result of your (& everyone else who was involved) first efforts with the newsletter.
Nothing to be ashamed of at all!

Well done to all! 8)

I concur with Nad's, that's GeoNads of course.

Top job there Eco's! It was late (or was it the wee hours) anyhow I was rivited to each page. It was great reading about fellow cachers. Would be happy to support your future publications. Let me know if you need a reporter west of the East coast.
