Of course you can, and any other time you want.

To ensure you are 'found' as many times as possible as a Geocacher geocache, log yourself into the towns you will be visiting at least one day before you actually arrive.....more than one day would be better, but that will obviously depend on you how you are going. Hopefully the local cachers will then see you and come out to meet/find you.

Good luck.....

Hmmm, while we can set up notifications for new caches, or moving caches coming into the area - is there a notification alert I can set if a Geocacher geocache moves into my area (as it is a locationless type). If not perhaps it is something we could think about.

Otherwise I would miss knowing unless I check the list regularly for caches in my area.

I thought that any cache that's comes in 'your' area will result in an e-mail notification to alert you. Is this not the case?

At the page https://geocaching.com.au/my/alert/

Yes it seems so, I can set my alert to include a geocacher as a type and a radius. I can't do the same with locationless, it resets to 0km as I guess coords are always 0,0. All good then.

Argh I hadn't updated that list for a while. Cheers Rich! \:D/
