Is this possible? It used to be. Where can I set the preferences for this?
Because it isn't this way for me, I now rarely visit this forum, because the posts are in alphabetical order of cacher name. Too hard to use at present.

Re: Last post first at top of page.
Mine still displays sorted by time.
Looking at it I think if you click on User Control Panel on the top menu bar, then Board Preferences on the left and then Edit Display Options there is the option of Display topics ordering by:
You can set that to Author or Post Time (plus a few others) - it seems maybe yours has changed to Author for whatever reason.

Re: Last post first at top of page.
Mine are set for post order but when viewing they do not do it so I assume it will be that way until the upgrade of the software has been done.
In the meantime try using 'View new posts' which is what I do to find out what has been posted since the last time I logged on.

Click View new posts on the top right to view all new posts.
It's the only way to sort by date that I know works.
Also, as mentioned above, go to 'User Control Panel' -> Board Preferences -> Edit display options and set Display topics ordering by: to 'Post Time' and 'Display topic order direction' to descending.

Re: Last post first at top of page.
FYI:
A little insight in to why the forums upgrade has been put on the backburner by me:

Public forum posts have been <1 post per day for most months since late 2014.
It's a LOT of work for very little return from my end.
We've had 2 months since 2017 where there have been ZERO public posts.
