I made a mistake and entered the wrong date in the claim form - how do I fix it?

You can't. Write to an admin and ask them to delete your claim so you can re-enter it.

Oh ok. Could you delete my claim for Number 26 - The 1500m?

I'm, not a game admin. Please use the administrators tab at the game page and contact either LouiseAnn or Sol de lune as they are the game admin.

4x4 challenge

Two cachers but only one geocaching name? Count as 1 or 2 for this challenge?

From Facebook:
Ok, another question for you. How do you calculate the points on #29 ? Is it on all 3 caches, or just the first one you nominate in the box ?

The same approach applies to all multi requirement challenges. The cache you want the points for goes in the top box and the rest go in the justification. So if you're doing the heptathlon you claim ONE cache (the one that gets your the points you want / need) and the rest you just enter in the box. That way you can control the points you want / receive.

Wow, I see someones hit the 1000pts already!

That assumption is incorrect.

http://geocaching.com.au/dragonzone/game/geosportz2016/
This game challenges you to minimise the number of requirements you claim and to reach but not exceed a target of 1,000 points. The higher your points the higher your position on the ladder. The fewer your claims the higher your position within the same points totals. Ladder positions will be calculated on points (high to low), then claims (low to high) and prizes will
If someone gets to 1,000 with fewer claims, they move into that position. Be strategic.

Fewer??? I thought the top position went to the one with the most claims?

Yeah me too.
On the home page it says: " There are lots requirements to choose from. Your target is to get as close to claiming all of the requirements without exceeding the target of 1,000 points in total."

And: "The name of the game is discipline and strategy. You are seeking a combination of the most requirements claimed and the highest number of points without exceeding 1,000 points. You are not claiming the requirements first. It is not meant to be a race."

Which seems to contradict this: "This game challenges you to minimise the number of requirements you claim and to reach but not exceed a target of 1,000 points."

Am I being Fick?

I have made a mistake. The description was incorrectly reverted. It now (correctly) reads.
This game challenges you to maximise the number of requirements you claim and to reach but not exceed a target of 1,000 points. The higher your points the higher your position on the ladder. The more claims you make the higher your position within the same points totals. Ladder positions will be calculated on points (high to low), then claims (high to low) and prizes will be awarded accordingly.

My sincere apologies for the confusion. I hope that no-ones strategy has been adversely impacted. If you feel that you have been affected by this correction, please send me a PM.

Thanks for the clarification. I too was wondering if I'd misread something.

I'm not playing for a sheep station, or for a pathtag for that matter, so wherever we finish on the ladder is unimportant to us. We're just enjoying the fun it's added to our regular geocaching. :D
