Wait till your road map book has little dots on all pages to indicate caches :)

You know you are a Geocacher when.........

1) You find yourself loitering around the plastics aisle in Woollies
2) You feel physical arousal in said location...

You know you are a geocacher when. . . .

You invite someone around to your place for the first time and all you give them is the co-ordinates to the front gate*

* Or in our case when the house is out in the sticks. . . . they get a multi !

We gave up printing maps out for each cache, I now transpose them across to our 2005 Sydways, much easier. Now that is getting a lot of crossed dots in it.

....... everywhere you go, every outdoor picture you see in a magazine, every outdoor scene you see on TV, you are wondering if there is a cache there.

You know you are a geocacher when ..

You find yourself checking for a GC.com.au sticker on the rear bumper & side windows of every single vehicle with an interstate number plate parked within Cooee of a cache ....

I do that numberplate & geocaching sticker thing with ANY car looking suspiciously 'cachey' LOL! :oops: Mind you, our car is darn obvious- I made a sticker for the back that says 'Team Red Devil' :twisted: 8) so anyone within a hundred metres or so can pick us out!

You also know you're a true geocacher when it makes its way into general conversation- like 'hey hon- remember at that cache n we found *insert interesting item* here etc, or you go to friends- 'yeah- I know where that is- thats about one and a half km's from *insert cache name here*' LOL!! :lol: :lol:
I was doing that the other night. Went out to dinner with some friends and there wasn't much I could add because anything I had to say involved a cache, a cache mate, a cache location, or something I had taken from a cache. It was all getting too much so i decided to be quiet.

You now your a fanatic geocacher when...
1) You watch to see if the kids accidently leave their maccas toy in the car and then you go back out there at night and hide it with the spare tyre.

2) You look on the dash of cars at traffic lights and cars passing you (both directions) for a GPS in a mobile phone holder.

3) Each time you go buy milk, bread or pick up pizza you end up coming home with $10 worth of $2 shop items.

4) You mates ring you up and say come round my place for a sec, or come out to the car park at work and they show you their latest cache container extroairdainare.

5) You on first name basis with the local army disposals and he gives you cache containers to stop you from loiteriing around in his shop.

6) The time spent not caching is used planning, preparing, surfing, chatting, emailing, debating and event cache related stuff.

7) You wake up with a great cache idea and can't get back to sleep.

8) Life decisions revolve around caching - "Where will we move to, How many kids will we have, what sort of car will we own, suitable significant others, time spent at in-laws dependant on nearby caches etc etc.

The Bronze.

LMAO, you've got me worried Bronze, I do too many of things, lol.

& another couple;

1. your friends turn up un-announced to take you fishing/biking/4wheeling/whatever & you say;
"where we going? .... just gotta go to the loo, be right with ya ...."
Then you run inside, grab the GPSr & quickly check the net for any new nearby caches.

2. you create a rule in your email software to automatically delete any email that doesn't contain "cach"
