Re: Early idea for 2013/2014 race
Hello Mrs The Morris and a belated happy birthday.
On the page right click on the QR image and you should see "save image as".

Re: Early idea for 2013/2014 race
If you move your pointer so it is over the QR Code and then right-click you should get the option to "Save Image As". When I do it I can save it as "canvas.png". Maybe you had you pointer in the wrong place.
Cheers,
Geoff aka Tyreless

The Morris what browser and version are you using. IE behaves differently to FF or Chrome.

Re: Early idea for 2013/2014 race
Google Chrome Version 30.0.1599.101 m - the "save image as" is usually an option and it is there for the emoticons. And I tried turning it off and back on again
But it is not an option on the cache page - I tried some of the previous cache pages and I can't "save image as" there either.
Anyway thanks for your help - you will just have to log them old school.

Well, poop, it looks like Chrome and IE won't save the HTML5 canvas we're using to draw the QR code.
Two options.
Download and use Firefox.
OR
On the cache page, click "Logs [None] [5] [10] [All]" which will open a printer friendly page. You could then print the page, cut out the code and use that.

Might be worth some sort of promotion to this race on the main page? Bit hard to find in this thread.

Everyone plays there own way. I don't tend to put log books in them as I won't really get a chance to see who logged it anyway. Others think it is sort of mandatory as geocaching tends to require signing a log book to log a "find".budgietas wrote:Hi. Quick question. Do these movables need log books? Is the finding and moving of the cache enough to prove they were found?
Or in summary, "whatever floats your boat"

Where? I am trying to think of where to get some apart from some small ones that seem to be available on ebay and may not turn up in time.

Found it in The Reject Shop in Chullora. A number of possibilities too.Richary wrote:Where? I am trying to think of where to get some apart from some small ones that seem to be available on ebay and may not turn up in time.

Re: Early idea for 2013/2014 race
I might have to check the Reject Shop. I bought a figure off eBay from an Adelaide seller 10 minutes before the auction closed for $5.50 so I have something for the race, as well as ordering some new bison tubes for the logs. Hopefully everything turns up in time!

Re: Early idea for 2013/2014 race
HELP. I can't find my cache. It was in draft mode and this morning I added a published log for Dec1. Now I can't find it, to add the coords where it is hidden. Why is it not listed under my hides I've tried searching by its GA number but this brings up nothing.

Note: Your cache is marked as a traditional cache. You need to make it a moveable.
If you've hit the publish it should be there.
Once your cache is published you MUST update all new co-ords via the cache logs NOT by updating the cache page. So edit your publish log to change the co-ords.
