Unbelievable if i had kids it would be disgusting if they found that, there was other rubbish in there i cleaned it out and threw it in a garbage bag in my car, being relative new im glad its the only one ive encountered like that, rant over! Well you could have lit one up, leaned back on the rock, puffed out a cloud of smoke and said something like "don't you just love the fresh air in the bush!"

Steamtrain, I understand your anger and concern.

Over the years we have found quite a lot of inappropriate things in caches. We generally remove the dirty, damaged, or inappropriate items and replace them with something more suitable.

Some people are unaware of the rules and/or the reasons for banning some items. Sometimes a muggle has found the container and is using it for storage.

You did the right thing.

Wendy

Just to highlight the opposite, I completed a series yesterday with my 8 yr old and every cache had her rummaging through in delight as there were some great age appropriate swaps. That said I fear it won't last long as these caches are in town and are new, so over time I fear the swaps will disappear, but they certainly made an 8yr olds day yesterday :D =D>
