Denmark newbie - can anyone in town help with some basics?

Hello there.
I just bought a Magellan eXplorist GC gps. I have no idea how to download a geocache. Can anyone local help me with some basics please?

You are going to have a problem.
At geocaching.com you are not a premium member.
This means you cannot get the GPX files for loading into your device.
I am not certain whether the unit will process .loc files, but they only contain the name and co-ordinates so it's of minimal use on a "paperless device".

For fun, find your closest Geocaching Australia geocache.

Sort by distance.
Visit the cache page by clicking on the name.
Grab the GPX file. Right hand side under Downloads.
Save the file to your harddrive.

Plug your GPS in.
When it mounts as an external drive copy the file across to the geocaches folder (not quite sure where it is).
Safely disconnect the USB device.
Unplug the device.
Turn it on.
Can you spot the cloest cache which should be the one frmo GCA you copied across.

The same deal will apply to gc.com caches, but you need to be a premium member to get them whereas GCA gives you the GPX files for free for GCA caches only.

Off topic but Denmark has some of the best caches in the country.
