There are two caches showing in the ladder for Alfyboy as already there - both are traditionals and with different owners?
Confused!

Placeholders by the look of it.
Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
There are a huge number missing from the 40's for some reason. 4740, 4840 and 4940 are all MIA. So are the 41, 42, 43, 49, 50 and 51 numbers for all 3 ranges. Weird. I hope a Bingo player has them reserved but just not yet entered into the game.

I have one almost ready im working on another two as we speak so now i need to come up with ideas for two more
Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
We're now down to missing 49-51 & 66 Oh course just because there is a cache with a number you need doesn't mean it'll ever come within grabbing distance...blossom* wrote:There are a huge number missing from the 40's for some reason. 4740, 4840 and 4940 are all MIA. Sorry - this might have been covered already
The two other people to move the cache before you can move it again rule seems to have gone. Am I just missing it?

caughtatwork wrote:There isn't a restriction. As it's more about you the finder rather than the cache being moved, "cheating" by handing the cache off between two of you to gain mileage isn't applicable.whitewebbs wrote:Just checking out the rules for this year's game and I can't see where it mentions how many moves before caches can be found again by a cacher who has already found the cache. Usually it is two moves with a moveable, will it be the same this year

Doesn't this lead to the possibility of finding your own hide?

You can find and move your own cache during the game period provided it is not the caches first move

Tasmanians can sometimes be a bit slow on the uptake Or at least, that's what I've heard but some of my best friend live in TassieCheesy pigs wrote:Budgie, we talked about this sunday

I was going to try to get a number in each of the rows (eg 10s, 20s, 30s etc) between Strike-a-light and myself so we had a nice distribution across the whole range. I created a new cache at #32, looked an hour later to see #39 had been entered already and quickly created my next cache, only to find I'm already at #55!! Who took all the 40's???!!!
Rest assured, all the 4740's are in good hands and will be available on a certain southern island come December 1.blossom* wrote:There are a huge number missing from the 40's for some reason. 4740, 4840 and 4940 are all MIA. Well you might have talked about this, but I was not in any conversation about it. I was more concerned that I could in a cache move it 1 km then pretend to hide it then refind it ad move it another 1 km. This is something I wouldn't do, but It is open to rourting. If there was one finder Inbetween each move by a cacher this would make better senseCheesy pigs wrote:Budgie, we talked about this sunday

There is no rort because you only need a number once. i.e. If you have 25 on your bingo card and you move number 25, that's it. The distance does not count towards anything, apart from needing to move it at least 1km from the last location. Other than that it's a standard moveable cache. Your choice as to how many times you want to drop it off and claim another "move".
This is different to last year where distance and number of times it moved counted. This year it's all about YOU finding caches to match your card, not how far the caches themselves travel.

Re: Bingo - The moving cache race for 2012/2013
That must mean a lot of caches will just be left sitting around and out of a cacher's reach. I expect the numbers we need in Tassie may never get here, so will be impossible to complete a bingo card.
