Scouting Cachers
Re: Scouting Cachers
Hi Hoojar,
Look at http://www.geoscouts.org.au/
and you will see there are a lot of Scouters involved in Geocaching or in Victoria you can go to http://www.vicscouts.com.au/geocaching.html and see that we are very involved in promoting Geocaching within Scouts.

It seems all systems go from work to me to attend AJ2013. We now just have to jump through all the hoops for Scouts.

Naah, I dont think so. After what I have been through over the last few months or so, a laminated sign just would not cut the grass.Datruk wrote:We will be taking up some laminated A4 signs at the geoicaching activity tentBundyrumandcoke wrote:Bloody 'ell, not another sign to paint.
You will have to wait and see.

And for those who went to Oz Mega Albury Wodonga, and going to AJ2013, you might see my small influence on some night time activities, hopefully the opening concert. .

That very same influence was recently at the NZ MEGA, compliments of Flipper & Co. A great effect.Bundyrumandcoke wrote:And for those who went to Oz Mega Albury Wodonga, and going to AJ2013, you might see my small influence on some night time activities, hopefully the opening concert. .

Lucky I didnt head over there then, as I was going to do the same thing for over there. The AJ influence is currently in transit.

Re: Scouting Cachers
I assume at least a few of people going to AJ also take part in the cachinggames.com moving cache race?
I was thinking it might help us all out to each take some movables in the game up, and swap there.
noone can get a box ticked off without moving them, but then I guess placing "just north" of the site and a finder moving to a km "just south" or in town may asist even more, then they can all head to new states at the end to widen their play.
