You will need to enter a cache in the game to get a card. Ok; Does this mean that any existing moveable, hopping or tunnelling, their way about the place can be entered as a legitimate transport entrant for this game? Can owners find their own cache after a suitable two location gap? Be frustrating if the only #23 in the State was your own cache!

Caches for this game must be new caches, entered into the game on 1-Dec-2012. Usually you can't find your own cache. This game will likely change that, so yes, you can find your own cache.
In the real game of bingo the same call can be used on multiple cards. I'm not sure on whether you can use the same cache on more than one card. I'm tending to yes, but I haven't made all the rules yet.
1km is the distance. If it's less than 1km, the game software won't count the move.

Am I correct in saying that the 1km refers only to the game software? On the GCA site the situation will remain normal. The cache can be logged as "found" and simply left in place, or it can be logged as found and collected. However the game software won't allow the player to tick off that number on their card(s) until they hide the cache more than 1km away?caughtatwork wrote:

This sounds great The more I think about it, the better it gets.
What if I manage to fill a card in the first 2 weeks of the game? Can we have a replacement card for each one as it fills, so I can keep playing? I always like the idea that we can keep playing right up to the last minute of the game. If the prizes were awarded to the players with the most cards (or boxes) filled, that would work ok. Those who could do 5 at a time get a benefit but we all get the opportunity to play for the whole 2 months.
You could even give a $1 credit in the shop for each card filled maybe? Or would that get a bit expensive?
And how pretty can you make the leader board? It wold be great to see each entry's name with diagram bingo cards (for however many they've been awarded) showing all the squares. The public view could be blank for a number yet to be found with the owner's view having the numbers showing up. Then when a number is found, a black cross through the square (or a little car, to follow the transport theme!) Once a card is filled, the "filled cards" column gets incremented and their new card starts off all blank.
Now all I need is for rogerw3 and pjmpjm to hide 100 between them and place the lot in a nice close circle around my home

Will there also be an enforced time limit rule? Meaning people have to re-hide within 2 days (or whatever the limit is) or it won't count?
