You refer to your high-vis vest as your "cloak of invisibility"...

....when you're out in the rain after midnight, concreting something into the ground on a traffic island,
ducking away like a thief in the night whenever a car comes out of the gloom ....

When you get invited to visit the inlaws and you immediately bring up the map so you can make a list of caches to find while you're in the area and along the way.... :-"

You are travelling down the hume highway, past Albury, after waking up from a nap, notice there's a building called "geofabrics", and your first thought is "was that made for the mega?" (second thought was "no, that must be where camo material is made, duh..") and confuse your muggle friends. :)

(and was quite dissapointed to find no caches nearby!!)

You have run out of green or black cammo spray paint... And you turn to a roll of duct tape instead!

You almost mug randoms, because they have an Oz Mega bag... (as in one of the purple enviromental bags), which judging by the age, they most likely either attended with their family, or their parents attended only.

To the small girl from ACT Scouts band, that i most likely scared yesterday, i'm sorry. I got excited by your bag. :-"

Searching through the pantry for the bottle of HP sauce I came across a 200ml sistema container my wife was using to store currents. A tingle of excitement briefly filled me as my brain registered the triumphant words "FOUND IT!"

Oh no ... you need to quietly put the currants in the sultana box while she's not looking, and steal away with the sistema 'cos we know a better use for it don't we?

When you think the only way to get a FTF in South East Melbourne is to equip yourself with one of these
