Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Not a huge issue for us Aussies , but for the Kiwi's sake could the graph (map) of where finds have been made be updated from Map Anz to Map ANZ?

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Nope.
Well, could do, but nope.
Technical reason.
We run a linux machine so case is everything here.
The files, by convention, are lower case.
To get the name, by convention, I uppercase the first letter of the word.
So map_anz gets Map Anz.
Tough noogies to them as I don't want to write a line that uppercases ANZ and nothing else.
See, your friendly site admins are not always so friendly
If I remember next time I'm that code, I'll have a look.

Missing Leap Frogs! Good Advice Needed
Have I done something terrible?
At the Leap Frog site, I chose 'Edit' and saw all my Leap Frogs listed.
Then I chose 'Submit' . . .
Now my frogs are missing from the ladder!
Should I panic?

Nah. I resets the counters when you update your frog details. They'll come back at the next ladder refresh.

Missing Frogs -- Bermuda Triangle All Over Again?
Phew!caughtatwork wrote:Nah. I resets the counters when you update your frog details. They'll come back at the next ladder refresh.
I also just noticed that the total number of frogs decreased by 18!
Many thanks for the quick re-assurance.
Now trying to get hands to stop shaking . . .

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Some frogs show up as being in 'Sydney' rather than the suburb they are in.
For example:
http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3784
http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3495
http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3451
http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3715
http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3754
http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga4050
Not sure why, there doesn't seem to be a common pattern that I can see.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
The common pattern is that's what the Google Maps API returns to us, so we use what it returns.
e.g.
http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3495
http://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/geo ... nsor=false

Have the public tags recently been spammed, or has "000 from cover a couple of pounds 4 weeks seems good" always been a public tag?
I like this one:
"but this isn t always the outcome as countless designer shoes or boots and boots are generally manufactured for the shopping department stores on a price it is affordable to a lot br br this shouldn t mean the caliber of the product is very little, but through the eighteenth 1 improvements of one kind along with another triggered greater precision and reliability the names of tompion, but used to do have for taking my five-month-old daughter to police train station so mommy may get fingerprinted because of the local law enforcement agency br br for reasons uknown i wouldn t give the second thought towards the criminal qualifica,"
Hmmm, ticket #484377 raised. Neat!

Ooooh, nasty.
Deadly embrace.
Not quite sure how / why, but I've killed everything and it should be back to normal.
Sorry if your query was killed.
