Re: Leap Frog registrations are now open
When I click on "Map Where They Are Now", on the Leapfrog Page at CachingGames.com, the map centres on Adelaide .
Now I'm sure Adelaide is a lovely place for those that like that sort of thing, but my world is centred on Melbourne.
Can someone please advise how I can make this link more perfect?
Thank you.

Re: Leap Frog registrations are now open
It's not centred anywhere specific. It's based on the order the caches come out of the database, so is not predictable.gmj3191 wrote:When I click on "Map Where They Are Now", on the Leapfrog Page at CachingGames.com, the map centres on Adelaide .

The trouble is that YOU want Melbourne, someone else wants Brisbane, others want Tasmania.
It's a generic query, so you get generic output.
If you want a specific targeted query, go create a My Query of your own.
Choose Moveable.
Choose Victoria.
Sort by closest to HOME.
Add the tag leapfrog
See what that does for you.

Re: Leap Frog registrations are now open
I'm looking at some of these frogs in their plots on the page and have a couple of questions.
Is there a way to narrow the map? at the moment it shows the whole country and it may be me, but I can't find a way to zoom in on the map.
This may be a part of my first question, do the GCA plots show travel or just stops? I can see those on google earth but can't on GCA is that right?

There is no means to zoom the map.Cheesy pigs wrote:I'm looking at some of these frogs in their plots on the page and have a couple of questions.

The plot shows (as the plot name suggests) the location of the cache PLUS the home locations of the people who have found it. It does not show where the cache has been, just where it is now.
If you want travels, choose the kml (Google Earth) link as you have found.

Re: Leap Frog registrations are now open
Hard to believe anyone would be interested in those other places, but thanks, I understand how to cope now.caughtatwork wrote:It's not centred anywhere specific. Re: Leap Frog registrations are now open
Is there any way a "My Query" could include a selection criterion of "last log was a Move"?

So sorry, should I archive some of mine to reduce the numbers?
