Roostaman.
And I hope you can arrange some 'special' deals from the RV & campervan Hire Coy's too - that would help a lot ! ! ! !

19th - 22nd October sounds like a good choice of dates! It'd be great to get over there as I haven't done any caching in NZ yet, although it was a kiwi cacher who told me all about geocaching in the first place :D

With this less than a year away now, could you (Moneydork) request the GCA faeries (Admin people and/or moderators) make this post a "Sticky" so it is always near the top and everyone can see updates quickly.

Am intending to attend with MtnLioness. I have been here before, will be good to return.

Poor weather and we're making laminated stash notes and small pens for the shop.

The NZ MEGA Website is now live http://mega.gps.org.nz

The website is still being developed and will be added to and extended as more information becomes available / is ready for release.

Keep the registrations of interest coming in! The sooner we get close to 500, the sooner we'll be able to get a MEGA listing up. We've hit 150 in just 12 hours, and nearly half of those are Australian :)

We're also listening the the questions submitted with the registration of interest, and this is going to help us direct the next level of information to provide. First up is looking like accommodation options. I expect that over the next month we should be able to get a lot more information up, particularly that which enables you to book flights and accommodation early!

We also have a dedicated NZ MEGA Forum up for throwing ideas around, and asking more questions. Of course, we'll do our best to keep an eye out here as well ;)

You know, that probably isn't as silly as it sounds. Mind you if the plane goes down you could wipe out half the caching community in one step! 8-[

There must be a cacher out there who is in the travel industry who can find out.
