Want to get Google+ ?
Actually, I'm not interested in the response
But if you do and you're hanging out for someone special to send you an invite, you can now bypass the invitation stage and go signup directly.

I think you'll need a gmail account, but apart from that, come and join a few very special geocachers in Google+
See if you can find CraigRat, caughtatwork and Geocaching Australia. You might need to know a few secrets about us though

Re: Google+
Doesn't seem to work with my account
Re: Google+
Google has been closing of the loopholes as they have appeared. Been itching for a + account myself. All in good time.

Re: Google+
c@w and I played with the Hangout feature last night. Seems really cool, we'd love to have a go with some more people though.
Personally I'm loving it, as it gives me more control over who I get messages from and also who I send messages to. I'ts good to be able to send stuff about geocaching to my geocachers circle and not annoy my non-caching friends.

Re: Google+
It worked for me but then I gave up when it wanted too much personal info.
As I'm not sure what it is I'm not going to divulge any more than I have to at this time.

That link above worked for me, have you tried it?Gowza wrote:Are there still invitations to be had? I'd love to suss it out....
(I'd also sent an invite from theUMP to my personal account, though, so that might've helped.)
Edit to add: I also tried it on another account, that hadn't had an invite sent to it, and that worked too.
(Now to see if Hangout works with video from my Nexus One!)

Weird. I'm pretty sure I gave it nothing I didn't already have out there anyway.Yurt wrote:It worked for me but then I gave up when it wanted too much personal info.

Re: Google+
Doing that I can search people via the existing platform of Google Profiles but it doesn't seem to give me what I imagine is full Google+ functionality

You could do this on FB as well without too many issues but I rarely even log in these days.CraigRat wrote:c@w and I played with the Hangout feature last night. Seems really cool, we'd love to have a go with some more people though.
