Hopefully Norky gets some recognition for this but I have heard through the grape vine there are movements afoot for an arrangement of mutual benefit to be made between GCA and the Two Hands Project... which may or may not involve completely ripping off his idea

I just did my first Two Hands cleanup over here in Ireland on a great 5km walk through the Wicklow Mountains for 4 Finds. I'll have to try get some canisters and drop them around the Emerald Isle

I stumbled upon another great use for film canisters (not clear ones) yesterday when completing "Yarra Scramble 4".

Someone had setup a pinhole camera and had glued it to the wall of the Punt Rd/Hoddle St bridge across the Yarra in Melbourne.

It was bang on GZ for one of the Yarra Scramble 4 waypoints. I didn't know what it was, so I opened it, thinking it might be related to the cache I was looking for, or even more excitingly, a multi or mystery cache I hadn't found yet, or maybe even an unpublished cache. Of course by opening it, I ruined it, but I left my contact details inside along with some info on what I was doing there (including a link to the geocache's page.)

I'd never have found this if I wasn't around this side of the wall looking for a geocache waypoint.

If you want to reduce the chance that they will end up as cache containers, why not drill a few holes in the sides and lids to make them less attractive?

Why bother? they leak anyway .

well you could put a key ring in them so it could be hung off you keys/Caching bag.

You guys have inspired me. I have a bunch of film cans, a pack of labels and heaps of shopping bags I was going to recycle. I have now seen the light.

So I knocked up a label...


and drilled a hole in the top and bottom of each film can. Stuff the bag in, slap the label on and she's good to go!

Hint: I used Avery DL14 98x38mm labels (14 per A4 sheet) that fit the cans perfectly. If anyone wants a custom-made label I'll be happy to oblige and send you a pdf.

I created the label using Adobe InDesign CS5 on a Mac.

Plan A:
1. Tell me your email address.
2. Tell me what you want changed on the label (eg. the caching name, any text added/removed/changed)
3. I'll make the changes and then email you a .pdf file that you can print on your own Avery DL 14 labels.

Plan B:
1. Copy the text below and paste it into a MS Word document using a Avery DL 14 template.
2. Edit the text how you want, and copy/paste the logos from http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3002
3. Get some Avery DL 14 labels and print.
