Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Sorry guys - I stuffed up posting East Gippsland Rail Trail etc and it ended up as a topic on its own.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Hi - Published a cache (GA2994) on the 19th, but it didn't show up in any of the daily updates since. Is that because you don't get notification of your own caches, or might something be wrong?
Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Hi all,
I'm hoping you can provide some advice. I'm trying to import my finds gpx file into GCA, but it doesn't update. I've tried several times using the wiki for guidance, including building a gpx file out of GSAK, but still no luck. Logs up until 25/5/2006 are fine, it's the ones from there on. Any ideas?
best wishes,
Wal

Your user settings are not right, your username here is walw and on GC it's Walw
Go to http://geocaching.com.au/my/settings and change your Cacher Name at the bottom to Walw and your logs will be there!

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Hello GCA fairies or elves or
When I run the Cachers by Days Cached graph it works great for each state. e.g.
http://geocaching.com.au/stats/cachers/ ... ays_cached
If I try to run this for all of Australia I get a blank graph with no data.
Is this a bug? Or it just wont work for all of Australia?
Thanks,
Mr Tardis.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Probably running out of allocated memory on the server.
I'll have a poke about when I can, can't promise I can raise the amount to get this to work, it's a reasonably massive job to go thru the 2.6 million logs to compile the numbers.

Thanks CraigRat! I thought I'd eliminated that as the problem...Caught out on the basics. Thanks very much for checking and helping, it's working fine now.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I have noticed today that the 2 gnomes I released at the same location yesterday only show as one gnome/pin on the travelling gnome map.
I released Acetone Gnome - GA2943 and Firesafe Spade - GA2861 at S35° 25.411' E138° 41.907'
My moved logs are the last for both currently and yet only Acetone Gnome - GA2943 shows as a pin on the map.
Shouldn't there be two pins in that location?

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Because they are at the same location there will be an overlap of the pins. If you were to do a search/query of the gnomes in the race they will appear at the same location on the map.
Here is a snippet of my query and it shows both gnomes.
01-Dec-10 0 wk Firesafe Spade Middleton South Australia Australia

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I created a route but can't seem to get any response when trying to download the GPX file, GPS, caches etc. Just sits stating that it is waiting for geocaching.com.au.
Interestingly it will show the GMAP.

Reduce the length of your route.
There are too many points to check and it's timing out.
Make it a couple of routes and do it that way.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I think I might be going nuts!!!
But you can't help with that. But maybe you can.
Why is it that the geocaching clock only has the hours between 01:01 and 23:59? What happen to the hour between 00:00 and 01:00?
It's doing my head in!!

We own GC276J9, "A Dying Art". Unfortunately we had to archive it recently. The cache still shows up on CGA as active.
