I'm an ex-pat kiwi living in South Australia.
Next Sept - Oct I'm visiting Wellington for RWC - staying with my sister in Upper Hutt, and hopefully doing a quick trip up to Rotorua inbetween rugby matches.
I will be bringing my son & daughter, and my girlfriend.
Therefore, my financial situation will mean I probably won't be attending the Oz Mega in Easter 2012.
I will be saving hard though, because I would dearly love to attend a NZ mega in late 2012, esp Chch - I attended Lincoln for my degree and love Chch and Canterbury.
I have my fingers and toes crossed that you can get it up & running. :D

Will be there if held in Christchurch as the missus has rellies there which means cheap acommodation for us.
This would negate the airfare.
We may or maynot be bringing our daughters. would depend on finances at the time.

Wow, Papa Bear Left is right!! (mostly) Colonel Light (Adelaide City designer) was dead before Christchurch was even settled. So in actual fact, Christchurch designer probably copied the overall feel of Adelaide's design.

Back to the topic - Yes I'll go if it's October but I won't if it's Easter (Due to Ozmega being on at same time)

Please add two wibbles to the count. They can't post here, but asked me to pass on their intentions. I have already answered the poll for myself, so cannot re-poll for them.

Thanks

Easter would suit us better simply from a least number of leave days required to get there.

Whatever suits you guys though.

I'm in!

I havent been to NZ before, so this sounds like a darn good excuse to get my butt over there.

Easter or Oct are both fine for me, although Oct might be the better in order for everyone to get accomodation?

I know it's too late for the poll but we'd love to be cached as bro!
Waikato 2011 (might have to hold an event)and Christchurch for 2012 sounds like a plan.
In 2 adults and a child.

The Flipper's could be an Oct 2012 posibility for NZ, crossing the ditch means a shorter length of time off work and October is better for us too. 2013 we intend to do the steam trip back to the Great Dorset Steam Fair, the boss just does not give enough holiday :)
cheers
