Also, is there some irony in the fact that his only date left is independence day? :D
Might have to wait until 2012 so he can find a cache on the 29th of February

Leap Day has been done. 5 finds in 2004 in Mexico, and 1 find in 2008. Only Independance Day left to go.

I first met Richary racing to a FTF by Tronador in Sydney Olympic Park last Christmas. Well timed publish... after breakfast, before lunch = Christmas FTF! Well except Rich poked the right rock first :P

I've cached on my birthday (and couldnt find a ridiculously obvious one..sigh.)

And i plan on caching on christmas day. Helloooo Dont Do Ngunnawal series..

(i'd just like to point out the obvious, i've only had a GC account since..about 8 days before my birthday this year, haha!)

Plans are full steram ahead for caching this Xmas Day. One cache I plan to find is GCVKK4 "Do they know it's Christmas Hill".

In July I turned 50, and on my birthday I had my 500th GC find. That was planned and I had to slow my caching for a couple of weeks prior to the date, which was a bit annoying really.

I'm now on 679 so I might see if I can do number 700 on Xmas - see how I go.

There are quite a few days I still haven't cached on, so I might have a go at filling in a few of those next year.

Looking good for me this year as I'll have to drop my mum home after tea, so I'm sure I'll be able to find one to do somewhere.

oh dear.
after putting even more thought into it than what i should, i realized that there's..
2 within walking distance of my dad's place.
1 in the car park of where we're going for lunch. (WIN!)
and 3 within walking distance of my grandparent's place.

Yeah, saturday looks good. :D

Well, I'm pretty sure my brother in law will be getting a new GPSr for Christmas (as his wife contacted me to find out which one to get!!!), so I'm fairly sure I'll be out getting at least one cache with him as we digest Christmas lunch!

Our very first cache was on Xmas Day last year, along with a geocoin.

We have a tradition of starting Xmas Day with a walk (used to be a run :( ) before tucking into Xmas brekky (Kiwi spelling) which is a family tradition:
  • Strawberried champagne (strawberries marinated overnight in brandy, orange zest and icing sugar. Plonk one in a champers glass with up to a teaspoon of the marinade, add champagne, don't drive)
Salmon pate (home made) and a liver pate, on thin toast
Christmas ring cake, frosted and with a big red candle in the hole
    Lots of fruits and nuts
I read this topic having just finished our walk plan for tomorrow morning. We are off to TP1758 and 3 nearby caches. Got to justify that champagne :-"

Safe travel everyone, Kenny and A+
