Australia's next Mega Event launch.

Post by the farmers 5 » 10 December 10 8:40 pm

Next Thursday , 16 th December at 8 pm, will see the launch of Australia's next exciting mega event. :) :)

The Committee consists of 5 teams representing 3 states .It has 10 adults and 12 kids as assistants.

We have worked hard in recent times and lifted the bar to another level. All components of the Mega are booked. The name, Committee, accommodation, meals, stages, lighting, sound , two semi trailers with fixed toilets and showers on top and some entertainment are all booked. In fact , every part is complete. :D :D
The event is an exciting logistical event and we have scoured the country and found the best location that will dazzle all geocachers.

The release document next Thursday night has 1184 words of information. There are 19 pictures and 5 websites included. Much thought and detail has gone into this and together with sponsors ,we have worked with 3 tourism departments, 3 councils and 2 Mayors for a great geocaching package. :D :D

The event is not in Wagga Wagga. The Committee are all under secrecy until release next Thursday night. The only clue we will give is that the much anticipated event is all booked and located in either Canberra, NSW, Victoria or South Australia. :D :D

The Committee is proud to present the full glossy package next Thursday night and are looking forward to the indicative intents from all teams to the great event planned. :D :D

Like wise we also can not wait to see the chosen date. Hopefully the date will conincide with an empty holiday block in our roster as my holiday dates for all of 2011 had to in no later than 30.09.2010. Well can only live in hope.

How exciting! We have fingers and toes crossed that we can make it and that the date doesn't clash with the impending arrival of the 4th Shrek to our family (due 16th June 2011) \:D/ .

Great work committee, can't believe you've been able to plan SO much without so much as a hint to the GeoCaching Community. Well done!

Well done guys, looking forward to the details, our only issue will be budget, with the event pending in NZ I would love to attend both, but the money will only allow for one big trip every few years I think that the Aus one will miss out :-k :-k
