editing logs and stats / doubled-up finds [closed]
I've already had a big month of Geocaching and I have uploaded my finds to Geocaching.com.au.
Trouble is, I've got some of the finds doubled up and it reports more that I have actually done.
Does anyone know how I can correct this?

Are you calling yourself Posspet Boys now?posspet wrote:Have tried the link but it only gives limited access to some July and Sept logs. This is the sort of editing I need but I cannot locate the most recent ones this way.

Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.
Yes, I did change the name to Posspet Boys (to reflect the team rather than singular).
And yes I was logging in as posspet.
I have tried though to log in as Posspet Boys (which I have not done before) to gc.com.au and it does not allow me as the passw3ord is not correct.
Then I tried to get the password sent to me via "Forgot Password". This does not recognise my e-mail address so I cannot log in.
I tried to creat a new profile and I am unable to do so as Posspet Boys is taken (proves that it is in there).
What to do next?
Somehow I wish I had never changed the name in the beginning after all.

Hmmm, Posspet Boys is not registered on gc.com.au (check the memberlist - sort on username, ascending - check page 10) but it is on gc.com.posspet wrote:Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.

Your gc.com user ID will be the same as you have only changed the name there. Find your gc.com user number and enter it into your profile <p>( http://forum.geocaching.com.au/profile. ... ditprofile ) - instructions are in the profile. That should fix it without changing the name in this forum.

It may be in the pipeline, however you can delete the extras by going to your cache page, selecting 'full logs'', select edit and then the delete button on the duplicated logs.EvilDan wrote:I imported my logs then checked again just to find that suddenly the site automatically imported them and I have doubles now! Does the site automatically correct this? Ta.
i! occasionally run a duplicate zapper script so you may find it has been done for you.
I think I'm having the same problem with duplicate logs.
I've got logs under the name "J. Edgar" being duplicated under the cacher name "ClanCowpat".
I must be doing something wrong. When I log my find/DNF on GC.com, does it automatically update here on GCA.com.au?
I've actually been writing one for each site. Bad idea?

bad idea, the logs will flow through, it can take a day or so to get here.J. Edgar wrote:I think I'm having the same problem with duplicate logs.
