Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Spotted that Trickle Trickle Splash Splash is incorrectly archived while going through my list of favourite caches.
I'm not sure about the policy on maintaining the feed from OS caches but would this affect someone importing their My Finds.gpx into the site?

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
We don't get fed international caches, so the faeries automatically archive them every now and then as we have no idea whether they are live or not.
It's a feature, not a bug

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I've taken out the smilies, so all should be well again.
Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Deja vu anyone? I think it was only 4000 smilies last time! :-p

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Not a site issue but the daily NSW update had a heap of Earthcaches listed as 'archived' which they don't seem to have been.
Thought you'd like to know.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
It has indeed come up before and the general response was probably no (otherwise it would be available).
This is probably more of an enhancement that I would like to see some other feedback on.
i.e. Should we fire an email at the logger saying their log has been deleted, etc, etc.
How about you fire up a new thread and we can have a discussion.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Pending the new discussion, I would support the ability for the Cache Owner to delete logs, if they have checked the cache and the supposed finder hadn't signed the book. Or if the log was inappropriate in regards to language or giving the hide away.

Hence the request for a new discussion.
Should we allow the owner to "edit" a log, removing anything deemed in appropriate or just a straight delete.
etc, etc.
