Ok, I see the issue now
once you edit the text it saves it differently and converts the text from HTML to plain text, causgin this issue.
I'll have a play and fix it!

A fix has been applied.
This arose out of adding smilies. I was not allowing other HTML to be added to the log box.
Sorry about that.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Wonderful job, THANKS guys.
Re: Report GCA Site issues here
How come the Top Finders GCA (month) on the home page includes Locationless, but the same section in the State page excludes them?
(Guessing same behaviour for Overall numbers too) I first noticed because my total on the Vic page didn't match my find total, but then realised I wasn't special/singled out.
Example, currently on the front page joffa1970 shows 24 GCA for July, on the vic page only 17.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I suspect because locationless means they don't belong to any state. Therefore would be the same if those "missing" 7 had been found in SA?

Correct!!!McPhan wrote:I suspect because locationless means they don't belong to any state. Therefore would be the same if those "missing" 7 had been found in SA?
(The front page is 'state-less' and counts ALL GCA finds.)

Duh!! Of course. Wish I'd thought of that!

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
Hey Guys,
I'm having trouble with the drop down menus up the top on the front page in Firefox 3.6.8 on OSX Snow Leopard. When they drop down they 'flicker' so that I can't select the menu entries. No problems with Safari 5.0.1 on the same machine. I don't think I had this problem yesterday.
Daniel

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
There has been no change to the functionality of the drop downs for, literally, years.
I use FF 3.6.8 on Win XP and 7 with no problems.
I suggest that if you didn't have the problem yesterday and you have the problem today, but we didn't change anything in the meantime, the problem is regrettably at your end and beyond our control to assess or address.

Re: Report GCA Site issues here
I am getting an error when I try to load the GPX file for Locationless caches into GSAK.
The error I receive is:
This file does not pass XML validation and will be ignored.
{file location and name}:49250:2: mismatched tag
I also receive the same error with the ZIP file.
I have not had problems before. I am running GSAK 7.7.1.34
