Unwanted 'Spam' Email from GCA
If you got an email recently about activating a user 'CroogRat' then I must apologise.
As part of testing the new server, it appears ALL users were given Administrator rights, and consequently when a new user was added to test, EVERYONE got sent an email.
My humblest apologies to all, it shouldn't happen again!

I saw the activation email last night, and knew if I waited overnight then something explanatory would turn up on the forums. However I never expected the name of the "noodly-one" to be invoked!CraigRat wrote: For the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, no more emails !!!
Actually, I am just relieved it wasn't some "dirty, rotten spammer" that had skimmed our email addresses!
After a highly "flesh-coloured" posting I saw on here late one night (before it was rapidly removed), it occurred to me for the first time how much externally-generated strife the mods must have to deal with. Thanks to all of the moderators for their hard work in keeping the GCA forums a nice place to play.
