How many GPS units does it take to find a cache?

Post by Team Rubik » 20 April 08 9:55 pm

I got out of my car yesterday to fill up on gas, when I got back in I was greeted by this! I know there are some South Australians with similar photos, anybody else got some to share?<br>

Man your lucky, most of the time people steal GPS's whilst the owner is in the servo.
Some silly bugger filled your car up with them instead :D

Cached went caching with us once is Brisbane. I think we ended up with 2 Garmins, a Navman, PDA, and 2 laptops running in the car at the same time.

Hmmm... Great way to asttract the attention of the boys in blue.. Here in QLD at least, mounting GPS, Tom Tom or phones on those suction cup gizmos is not legal....

wow news to me... im sure they have better things to do, but if they really wanted to they would be able to pull over just about every car the drove pas them. I see 100's of cars on the way to work with GPS units mounted on the widescreen, along with toys and crystals hanging from the rear view mirror.

One of my pet peeves. What a great way to train yourself to ignore movement in your peripheral vision!
Along with seeing the face of the driver in front in all three mirrors, meaning that they have a big blind spot on either side that the wing mirrors are _supposed_ to cover!

I have always thought the prisms that hang off mirrors should be banned. Not only do they flash coloured light into the car behind, they have to be a shocker for the driver.
